About the role

Panera Bread is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at its Staten Island café. You will create a welcoming environment, uphold food quality standards, and develop a high‑performing team while delivering the fresh, friendly service the brand is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day café operations and ensure a warm guest experience.
• Maintain food quality, safety, and service standards in compliance with all regulations.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop associates, fostering a people‑first culture.
• Drive sales, labor efficiency, and cost controls to meet business goals.
• Protect company assets through strong operational controls.
• Represent Panera Bread in the local community and support marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication abilities.
• Passion for guest service and team development.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• ServSafe Food certification is a plus (training provided).
