Restaurant Accountant

About the role

Wings Over is looking for a Restaurant Accountant to manage financial records for its Eastern United States locations. This fully remote position will ensure accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance across all corporate sites.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll and account analysis.
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure timely recording of all transactions.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports for senior management.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and revenue‑enhancing strategies through regular financial reviews.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement and other teams to provide financial insights.
• Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Support audit processes and ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Prior accounting experience in the restaurant or quick‑service restaurant (QSR) industry.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
