Resource Team Nurse

About the role

The Resource Team Nurse provides coordinated, patient‑centered care across the continuum, emphasizing education, self‑management, and satisfaction. This position requires independent planning, goal setting, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to influence positive health outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice through conscious and deliberate planning.
• Set and pursue self‑directed goals for managing complex client situations.
• Coordinate care focused on patient education, self‑management, and customer satisfaction.
• Administer medications and procedures in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to influence patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Proficiency in written and spoken English as required by 38 U.S.C. 7403(f).
• Graduate of an ACEN‑ or CCNE‑accredited nursing program, or equivalent foreign nursing education with validated equivalency.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a professional nurse in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Eligibility for temporary appointment as a Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) if licensure is pending, with a possible conversion to permanent status upon licensure.
