Residential Services Manager

About the role

Discovery Land Company is seeking a Residential Services Manager to lead the Residential Services Department at The Hills, a private community near East Quogue, New York. The role oversees maintenance, housekeeping, and member relations for private homes and shared club spaces, ensuring a premium experience for members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Residential Services team, including scheduling, hiring, training, and performance management.
• Develop and enforce department policies and procedures that meet the highest standards of service.
• Coordinate housekeeping for member arrivals and departures, and handle individual service requests.
• Inspect properties, stock homes, and complete arrival and departure checklists to member specifications.
• Oversee general maintenance plans for each property and maintain records of equipment, service costs, and vendor contacts.
• Prepare and manage the department budget, owner’s binders, and reports on residence needs and schedules.
• Collaborate with Member Services and Accounting on rental unit usage and other operational tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of leadership experience in hospitality, property management, or hotel operations.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional service and communication to members, guests, and team members.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing; CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred.
