Resident Services Team Member

About the role

The Resident Services Team Member supports community life by designing and delivering social and physical activity programs that enhance resident satisfaction and retention. This position works closely with residents and on‑site staff to create a vibrant, engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create and coordinate social and physical activity programs, including resident functions, birthday cards, welcome parties, off‑site excursions and other events.
• Set up and prepare each event, and produce activity announcements, newsletters and flyers as needed.
• Maintain a daily calendar of community activities such as social gatherings, fitness classes, educational programs and interest groups.
• Manage the resident volunteer program, scheduling volunteers for consistent participation.
• Assist with the annual Resident Survey and provide input on activity‑related budgeting.
• Coordinate interview processes and recommend qualified instructors for on‑site exercise activities.
• Train on‑site staff to host successful resident activities.
• Interview and recommend licensed transportation providers for off‑site trips.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience demonstrating strong customer‑service skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively for resident communications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to deliver customer service and handle resident concerns.
• Capability to resolve complaints, complete documentation and prepare reports.
