Resident Director, Lion's Den

About the role

The Resident Director of the Lion's Den will lead the on‑campus residence hall, fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging living‑learning environment for students. Reporting to Student Affairs leadership, this professional staff position oversees daily operations, programming, and community development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of residence hall operations, including staffing, budgeting, facilities, and safety compliance.
• Supervise and develop resident assistants and support staff.
• Design and implement co‑curricular programs that promote student success, wellness, and community engagement.
• Collaborate with campus partners to address student needs and resolve conflicts.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation required by university policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in residential life or student affairs leadership.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
