Research Project Manager

About the role

The Center for Applied Communications and Networks is seeking a Research Project Manager to coordinate multiple technical projects focused on network technologies and communications systems. You will guide projects from proposal development through execution, reporting, and close‑out, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate proposal development meetings, track action items, and manage submission deadlines.
• Manage several concurrent research projects, maintaining accurate status in tracking systems.
• Coordinate project milestones, expenses, and deliverables with center leadership, sponsors, and stakeholders.
• Organize meetings, capture minutes, and summarize outcomes for project teams.
• Generate regular progress reports and final project documentation.
• Collaborate closely with faculty, researchers, and industry partners to achieve project objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple technical or research projects.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to track deadlines and deliverables.
• Effective communication and collaboration with academic and industry stakeholders.
