Applied Intuition is seeking a passionate Research Engineer to advance its robotics and autonomous‑driving research. You will work within a high‑impact team that builds cutting‑edge hardware, simulation tools, and data pipelines for next‑generation physical AI.

Key responsibilities

• Support the setup, integration and testing of robotic and data‑collection hardware.
• Design and prototype mechatronic systems tailored to specific research demands.
• Develop and maintain simulation environments for autonomous vehicles and robotic platforms.
• Collect, process, and analyze large‑scale sensor data to inform algorithm development.
• Conduct research, publish findings, and translate methods into deployable software for real‑world systems.

Required profile

• Strong background in robotics, mechatronics, or related engineering disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to work on hardware‑centric projects and research‑oriented tasks.
• Comfort with fast‑paced, customer‑focused environments and interdisciplinary collaboration.
