Research Analyst, Regional Analysis

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland is seeking a Research Analyst to support the Regional Analysis function. In this role you will assist economists and senior officers in producing research, publications and data products that inform monetary policy and regional economic monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for the preparation of articles, presentations and public data products.
• Summarize discussions with local business leaders and external contacts to inform regional economic monitoring.
• Maintain economic indicators on the Bank’s website and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of policy briefings for the Bank’s President ahead of Federal Open Market Committee meetings.
• Contribute to internal policy processes and support outreach activities.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship, U.S. national or permanent resident (or willingness to declare intent to become a U.S. citizen).
• Ability to obtain access to confidential supervisory and FOMC information.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced background check and comply with information handling rules.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
