Research Administration Systems and Process Manager

About the role

The University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is seeking a Research Administration Systems and Process Manager to lead the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of its research administration platforms and related workflows. The role will enhance efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and improve the researcher experience across the division.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and maintain research administration systems used by faculty, staff, and students.
• Design, automate, and optimize workflows to streamline grant and project management processes.
• Integrate disparate systems and ensure data consistency across platforms.
• Provide user support, training, and troubleshooting for system users.
• Collaborate with IT, research offices, and external vendors to align technology solutions with institutional goals.
• Monitor system performance, generate reports, and recommend enhancements.

Required profile

• Experience managing enterprise research administration or similar systems in a higher‑education environment.
• Strong understanding of grant lifecycle, compliance, and research processes.
• Proven ability to lead process‑improvement initiatives and work cross‑functionally.
