Research Administration Systems and Process Manager

About the role

The Research Administration Systems and Process Manager will lead the implementation, administration, integration, support, and continuous improvement of research administration systems and related workflows across the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture. The role focuses on designing automated processes, integrating applications, and enhancing the researcher experience while aligning with institutional research objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain research administration systems, ensuring they meet the needs of faculty, staff, and students.
• Design, automate, and optimize workflows to reduce administrative burden and improve efficiency.
• Integrate disparate software platforms to create seamless data flows.
• Provide user support, training, and documentation for system users.
• Collaborate with university stakeholders to gather requirements and drive continuous process improvement.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage upgrades or enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Proven experience managing research administration systems or similar enterprise applications.
• Strong project‑management and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
