Remote Temporary Data Entry Clerk

About the role

Crawford is seeking a Remote Temporary Data Entry Clerk to support its claims processing team during peak periods, especially hurricane season. This seasonal, remote position offers flexible assignments ranging from a few days to several months, with the possibility of full‑time conversion for high performers.

Key responsibilities

• Enter claim‑related data accurately into designated systems.
• Review and edit transcriptions from mobile applications for correctness.
• Communicate regularly with team members and Content Claims Specialists about data progress and pricing.
• Meet workflow deadlines and submit completed work on time.
• Document and upload claim information, maintaining detailed notes.
• Implement changes immediately after Quality Assurance reviews.
• Submit daily work and time logs for all processed claims.
• Assist with additional tasks to ensure smooth workflow and team collaboration.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in data entry, retail, transcription, or customer service.
• Reliable high‑speed internet connection.
• Personal computer or laptop running Windows 10 or Windows 11 (no Mac or Chromebook).
• USB wired headset and functional webcam.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Highly organized, able to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
• Adaptable to new technology and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Outlook.
• Effective online research abilities.
• Familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
