Remote Supervising Provider (Independent Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Supervising Provider to join our remote team across the United States. In this independent‑contractor position you will conduct telehealth evaluation and management visits, determine patient eligibility for multiple care programs, and oversee auxiliary staff to ensure compliance with Medicare and CMS regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initiating E/M telehealth visits, assess patient needs, and document care plans in line with Medicare guidelines.
• Provide general supervision and clinical oversight to Community Health Workers and other auxiliary personnel.
• Review and approve documentation, ensuring correct CPT coding before billing.
• Oversee Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) assessments and ensure proper billing documentation.
• Offer clinical guidance on complex cases and coordinate care across teams.
• Maintain quality assurance standards and regulatory compliance for all patient interactions.
• Collaborate with the advocacy team to align clinical services with patient needs.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted medical license (MD, DO, NP, or PA) in the United States; multi‑state licensure preferred.
• Board certification or equivalent in a relevant specialty is preferred.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Medicare billing and CPT coding.
• Experience conducting telehealth E/M visits.
• Knowledge of CMS guidelines and documentation standards.
