Remote SEO Specialist – Growth Team

About the role

Snap Finance is looking for an SEO Specialist to join its Growth team. In this individual‑contributor position you will lead day‑to‑day organic search execution across multiple Snap Finance websites, driving both consumer and merchant‑facing organic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own content research and keyword mapping, prioritising searches by intent, difficulty and business value.
• Execute on‑page optimisations for landing pages, blogs and product pages (title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, content structure).
• Perform technical SEO audits and work with developers to fix crawlability, indexation, page‑speed, Core Web Vitals, schema markup and site architecture issues.
• Develop detailed content briefs that translate keyword strategy into actionable guidance for the content team.
• Monitor organic performance using analytics tools, identify ranking changes, traffic shifts and content gaps.
• Support localized SEO for state, city and merchant‑specific pages, coordinating dynamic page templates.
• Collaborate with compliance to ensure all SEO‑driven content meets financial‑services advertising regulations.
• Track algorithm updates, assess impact and recommend responses to the Director of Growth.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on SEO experience with ownership of keyword strategy, on‑page and technical SEO.
• Experience working in‑house for a brand, preferably in a regulated financial‑services environment.
• Proficiency with Ahrefs or Semrush for keyword research, site audits and rank tracking.
• Working knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.
