Remote Real Estate Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Remote Real Estate Operations Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day running of our self‑storage facilities. This full‑time remote position reports directly to ownership and is responsible for ensuring smooth operations, tenant satisfaction, and compliance across all sites.

Key responsibilities

• Answer the operations phone line, convert rental inquiries into signed leases, and resolve customer issues with professionalism.
• Manage the complete tenant lifecycle – move‑ins, move‑outs, unit turnovers, lease terminations, and delinquency tracking – while keeping the Cubby system up‑to‑date.
• Execute lien and auction processes for defaulting tenants, adhering to state regulations and deadlines.
• Obtain quotes, coordinate, and supervise vendors for gates, doors, cameras, fences, landscaping, and repairs, ensuring clear scope and pricing.
• Investigate security incidents using camera footage and access logs, and follow through to resolution.
• Support the onboarding of newly acquired facilities by transferring utilities, setting up phone and software systems, and drafting site SOPs.

Required profile

• Strong judgment and the ability to filter information before acting.
• Demonstrated ownership and follow‑through; tasks are completed fully.
• Proactive planning with early issue identification.
• Minimum 2 years in a customer‑facing operations role such as property management, leasing, commercial real estate, or facilities management.
• Excellent phone presence, clear written and spoken English, and a reliable remote work setup.
