Remote Medical Scheduler

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Remote Medical Scheduler to join our physician‑owned practice. The role supports outpatient radiology procedures, handling high call volumes while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and insurance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of calls and communicate professionally with patients, provider offices, and insurance companies.
• Schedule and pre‑register outpatient radiology procedures.
• Obtain and verify insurance, demographic, and clinical information.
• Follow compliance and authorization requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of medical office experience.
• Knowledge of radiology procedures, insurance processes, scheduling, and medical terminology.
• Strong communication, multitasking, and customer‑service abilities.
• Experience working remotely.
