Remote Litigation Attorney (Part‑time to Full‑time)

About the role

Our client, a diversified law firm, is seeking a remote litigation attorney to manage an active caseload and eventually transition to full‑time hours. The position starts at roughly 20 hours per week and offers the chance to mentor a junior attorney.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, oppositions, and handle law‑and‑motion practice.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis across various matters.
• Support cases involving land use, constitutional, and education law, among other areas.
• Collaborate with the team on case strategy and workflow.
• Guide and mentor a junior attorney on legal approaches and best practices.

Required profile

• Active California bar license in good standing.
• Strong litigation background with experience in law‑and‑motion work.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Interest and ability to mentor junior attorneys.
• Experience or exposure to land use, constitutional, or education law is a plus.
• Excellent written and analytical skills with a detail‑oriented approach.
