About the role
Polaris Clinical Review is seeking a Remote Legal Nurse Consultant to support attorneys handling medical‑related litigation. The consultant will work independently to analyze medical records, build case chronologies, and assess standards of care, providing clear, actionable insights for legal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Review and interpret medical records for legal cases.
- Develop detailed case timelines and chronologies.
- Evaluate nursing and medical standards of care against case facts.
- Identify relevant medical issues and summarize medical terminology.
- Prepare concise reports and support attorneys throughout the litigation process.
Required profile
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Strong background in nursing and medicine with experience in medical record analysis.
- Excellent critical‑thinking, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience in legal consulting or related fields is a plus.
