Remote Entry-Level Help Desk Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Remote Entry‑Level Help Desk Specialist to provide first‑line technical assistance to end users. You will troubleshoot basic hardware, software and network issues while ensuring a smooth and positive user experience. Key responsibilities

• Respond to support requests via phone, email, chat and ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software and network problems.
• Document tickets, resolutions and maintain knowledge‑base articles.
• Perform password resets, account access assistance and software installations.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.
• Assist with employee onboarding and device setup.
• Monitor ticket queues to ensure timely resolution.
• Support technology improvement initiatives and perform ad‑hoc administrative tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma (required); associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in customer service, administration or IT support.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and support processes.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Windows operating system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace.
• Experience with ticketing systems.
• Understanding of computer hardware components.
