About the role
We are looking for an experienced Employment Law Paralegal to support a U.S. law firm handling employment‑related litigation, workplace disputes, and advisory matters. This fully remote position offers flexibility for full‑time or part‑time schedules.
Key responsibilities
- Support attorneys with cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage‑and‑hour disputes, and related claims.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, notices, and legal correspondence.
- Assist with EEOC, state agency, and administrative charge matters.
- Prepare and organize documents for investigations, including personnel files, payroll records, emails, policies, contracts, and disciplinary records.
- Manage discovery processes, including document collection, review, organization, and production.
- Prepare materials for depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and trials, and coordinate related events.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, courts, agencies, and experts.
- Track statutes of limitation, administrative deadlines, discovery deadlines, court dates, and case milestones.
- File court and agency documents through electronic filing systems and conduct legal research.
- Maintain accurate digital case files within the firm’s case‑management and document‑management systems.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a paralegal, lawyer, or attorney.
- At least 2 years working with a U.S. employment law firm.
- Strong hands‑on experience with U.S. employment law matters and litigation.
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and legal correspondence.
- Proven ability to manage discovery and document production.
- Familiarity with reviewing personnel and payroll records, policies, and workplace communications.
- Experience preparing for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, or trials.
Required skills
- Proficiency with electronic filing systems.
- Experience using case‑management and document‑management software.
