Remote Data Entry Clerk – Full‑time

About the role

CodeVertex Careers is seeking a Remote Data Entry Clerk to join its growing operations team. This fully remote position allows you to work from home anywhere in the United States while handling customer and operational data for multiple clients.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer, account, and operational data into company databases and internal management systems.
• Review submitted information for completeness, correct formatting, and accuracy; flag discrepancies for supervisor review.
• Maintain well‑organized digital records across multiple client accounts and internal databases.
• Meet daily data‑entry accuracy and productivity targets set by team management.
• Communicate task updates, questions, and completion status to team leads via email and messaging platforms.
• Handle all data, account records, and customer information with strict confidentiality.
• Assist with document formatting, file management, and general administrative support as needed.
• Participate in brief team check‑ins and training sessions to stay current on processes and system updates.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM with high accuracy preferred.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction‑free home workspace.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy on high‑volume tasks.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage time effectively and work independently.
• Must pass a pre‑employment background check.
• No prior experience required – full paid training provided from day one.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
