Remote Data Entry Clerk – Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous Work‑From‑Home Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team supporting Chesapeake Oncology‑Hematology Associates. In this full‑time role you will ensure patient information is accurately captured and maintained in our electronic health records, directly contributing to high‑quality cancer care.

Key responsibilities

• Enter confidential patient data from multiple sources into the EHR system with speed and precision.
• Review entries for errors, correct inconsistencies, and verify output quality.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all patient information.
• Update and amend patient records promptly as new information becomes available.
• Generate routine reports, store completed work in designated folders, and perform regular data backups.
• Respond to information queries from authorized staff and retrieve relevant files.
• Collaborate with administrative and clinical teams to ensure data consistency.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar administrative role.
• Exceptional typing speed and accuracy with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• High integrity and understanding of data confidentiality requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
