Remote Contract Litigation Attorney (NY Bar)

About the role

A boutique New York‑based law firm is looking for a contract litigation associate to join its team remotely. The role supports a growing caseload in administrative law and guardianship matters, with the possibility of converting to a permanent position after six months.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law to shape litigation strategy.
• Draft pleadings, motions, letters, and other court documents.
• Communicate with clients, providing updates and responding to inquiries professionally.
• Assist in case preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing for hearings.
• Write correspondence to courts, clients, and opposing counsel.
• Manage a high‑volume caseload efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Required profile

• Active New York bar admission in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to guardianship, elder law, or administrative law.
• Ability to handle first‑year associate‑level work under senior attorney guidance.
• Strong writing, research, and organizational abilities.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
