Remote Behavioral Health Recruiter

About the role

This remote, 1099 contract role supports Adolescent Wellness Academy by connecting qualified candidates with clinical, operational, and support positions. You will be the first point of contact for applicants and guide them through the hiring process.

Key responsibilities

• Source and screen candidates for experience, qualifications, and role fit.
• Manage the full hiring process from initial contact through interviews, references, and offers.
• Schedule virtual and in‑person interviews, keep candidates informed, and assist hiring managers with interview guides and scorecards.
• Maintain candidate records in Breezy HR and build pipelines for recurring roles.
• Partner with managers to review candidates, move decisions forward, and hand off accepted candidates to onboarding.

Required profile

• At least two years of full‑cycle recruiting experience.
• Background recruiting in behavioral health, mental health, substance‑use treatment, or related clinical settings.
• Proven ability to work independently and responsively in a remote environment.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system.
• Preferred residency in Florida and familiarity with Florida clinical qualifications and licensure.
