Regulatory Program Manager

About the role

Radiant Industries is seeking a Regulatory Program Manager to lead the licensing and authorization process for its portable nuclear microreactors. You will work closely with military partners, regulators, and internal engineering teams to bring advanced nuclear technology to market.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships, coordinate meetings, track deliverables, and ensure contract compliance.
• Own end‑to‑end licensing execution, including safety analysis and physical protection plans.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies to drive efficient project execution.
• Oversee technical team outputs, organize design reviews, and compile regulatory documentation.
• Identify and resolve regulatory concerns, ensuring adherence to Radiant’s novel licensing pathways.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (nuclear, mechanical, electrical, computer science, or related).
• Minimum 5 years experience in a regulated industry, preferably nuclear programs overseen by the NRC or DOE.
• Proven ability to work in uncertainty on first‑of‑a‑kind projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
