Registration Project Manager, Events

About the role

You will lead the end‑to‑end registration experience for a portfolio of events, ensuring smooth onsite check‑in and an engaging pre‑show process. The role blends project management, data analysis and creative problem‑solving while working closely with marketing, digital and sponsorship teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of registration for assigned shows, including budgeting, forecasting and building registration websites.
• Analyze post‑event surveys and registration data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor registration pacing and trends, and devise strategies to enhance the attendee journey.
• Design on‑site registration layouts using Visio, covering counters, kiosks, equipment, Wi‑Fi and signage.
• Hire, train and supervise registration staff, vendors and temporary contractors before and during events.
• Collaborate with the Sponsorship Fulfillment team to ensure sponsor deliverables are in place and explore new opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in registration or event operations.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience developing and analyzing budgets and forecasts.
• Excellent communication skills with vendors, agencies and internal partners.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving aptitude in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.
• Willingness to travel frequently (up to 9 times per year).
