Registered Nurse – Upper East Side

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Upper East Side clinic, providing direct patient care under physician supervision. The role involves clinical assessments, coordination of services, and documentation within an electronic medical record system.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, develop nursing care plans, and prioritize care.
• Prepare equipment and assist providers during examinations, testing, and treatments.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary services and arrange diagnostic tests as ordered.
• Perform inpatient diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures alongside physicians.
• Tri­age patient inquiries, communicate test results, and ensure infection‑control compliance.
• Administer injections and medications per state law and clinic guidelines.
• Educate patients and staff on pharmacology and protocol requirements.
• Participate in safety programs, staff orientation, and policy review.
• Document medical information accurately in the EMR.
• Support clinical research activities, including eligibility assessment and protocol documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience (more experience may substitute for BSN).
• Current NY State RN license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Infection Control Certificate.

Required skills

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) chart management.
