Registered Nurse Trainer – GRHS (Savannah, GA)

About the role

The State of Georgia, through the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse Trainer for the GRHS location in Savannah. Working 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, you will lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of training programs for staff across the agency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver conferences, seminars, presentations, and community outreach sessions.
• Identify training needs and create instructional materials, including videos and photographs.
• Schedule training sessions, maintain training records, and set up audio‑visual equipment.
• Serve as a resource for outreach communication and may act as a lead worker.
• Train subordinate staff on day‑to‑day operational procedures.
• Perform end‑to‑end learning and development activities and evaluate training outcomes.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree and a valid Georgia nursing license or Compact license.
• Minimum three years of experience providing educational training or instructional services to hospital staff.
• Ability to travel for training purposes and maintain accurate training databases.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, twist, and stand for extended periods.
