About the role

Join Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). This full‑time night‑shift position offers the chance to provide high‑quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients while working within a collaborative, patient‑centered team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and evaluate patient conditions, implementing care plans and adjusting interventions as needed.
• Coordinate daily patient flow, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care according to hospital policies.
• Document assessments, interventions, education, and any incidents accurately in the patient record.
• Advocate for patients and families, providing education and timely communication.
• Participate in performance‑improvement initiatives and shared‑governance activities.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience or willingness to work in a Medical ICU setting.
• Ability to work night shifts on a 3‑day/12‑hour schedule.
• Commitment to professional competence, confidentiality, and safety standards.
