Registered Nurse – Psychiatric Clinical Research

About the role

Alcanza Clinical is seeking a Registered Nurse with psychiatric experience to join its multi‑site clinical research team. The RN will support the execution of Phase I‑IV studies, ensuring patient safety and protocol compliance while performing a range of clinical procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and enroll patients, obtain informed consent, and conduct follow‑up visits.
• Perform clinical procedures such as venipuncture, injections, infusions, drug preparation/mixing, vital signs, ECG/EKG, and basic laboratory tasks.
• Collect, process, store, and ship specimens; operate centrifuges and manage specimen accountability.
• Enter data into Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems, resolve queries, and maintain source documentation.
• Schedule study visits, send reminders, and maintain study‑specific supplies and logs.
• Report adverse events, SAE/Deviation reports, and ensure timely communication with investigators and sponsors.
• Assist with site initiation visits, investigator meetings, and monitoring activities.

Required profile

• Current RN license with experience in psychiatric nursing.
• Familiarity with clinical research processes and regulatory requirements (GCP, ICH, HIPAA, FDA).
• Ability to work collaboratively with site staff, investigators, and sponsors.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
