Registered Nurse - Physician Office

About the role

AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its physician office in Sebring, Florida. The nurse assesses and diagnoses patients' and families' needs, develops care plans and provides patient education within a team setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients' and families' needs to provide quality care.
• Develop and communicate realistic problem lists for each patient with the patient and family.
• Implement medical plans of care, nursing interventions and procedures using necessary skills and judgment.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care.
• Promote effective working relations and work as part of a team to meet departmental goals.
• Maintain current knowledge, certification and licensure and pursue ongoing professional growth.
• Provide patient education and support, monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
• Basic Life Support / CPR certification (required).
• Fluent in spoken and written English (required).
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, make independent decisions and work alone effectively.
