Registered Nurse – Pediatric Outpatient Clinic

About the role

The Atrium Health Outpatient Matthews Pediatric Clinic is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality primary and acute pediatric care. You will work in a fast‑paced ambulatory setting, supporting children from birth through adolescence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide well‑child check‑ups, immunizations, and same‑day sick visits.
• Manage chronic pediatric conditions such as diabetes and asthma.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform triage, patient education, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to evidence‑based practice standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum one year of acute‑care RN experience with pediatric focus.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; PALS preferred.
