About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the TOSH Operating Room. This full‑time, day‑shift position supports surgical teams and ensures safe, high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operative procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and surgical instruments.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intra‑operative changes.
• Document nursing care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient flow.

Required profile

• Current legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Eligibility to work without sponsorship.
