Registered Nurse, Operating Room Circulator (FT Days)

About the role

AdventHealth South Orlando is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse as an Operating Room Circulator on a day shift with a call requirement. The position is based in Orlando, Florida, and offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly reviewing and revising them as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatments, medications and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
• Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (required).
• Additional licensure or certification may be required depending on the unit or state.

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Ability to work as a team player within a unit.
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills.
• EKG interpretation (based on patient needs).
