Registered Nurse – Oncology Unit (12‑week assignment)

About the role

This 12‑week, in‑house agency assignment supports the Oncology Unit on Kings Highway. The RN will lead patient care delivery, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure high‑quality outcomes while adhering to nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment plans and health management.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote change based on data and best practices.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
