Registered Nurse – OB (Obstetrics)

About the role

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in obstetrics to join its Middleburg Heights team. You will provide direct nursing care to pregnant patients, support labor and delivery, and contribute to a patient‑centered environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct obstetric nursing care, including assessments and monitoring.
• Perform and document routine obstetric procedures within scope.
• Monitor fetal well‑being and intervene in emergencies.
• Assist in labor and delivery, supporting both cesarean and vaginal births.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the obstetric team to develop patient‑centered care plans.
• Document nursing care accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care.
• Utilize clinical data to identify high‑potential cases and escalate as needed.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse license with OB/GYN specialty.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proven experience in obstetric assessment, monitoring, and routine procedures.
• Ability to respond to fetal emergencies and support labor and delivery.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
