Registered Nurse – Night Shift (12‑hr)

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, evidence‑based medical care to residents in a substance‑use and mental‑health treatment facility. Working the night shift, the RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality, person‑centered care throughout each patient’s stay.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, identify high‑risk indicators, and document findings promptly.
• Administer and manage medications, reconcile medication administration records, and monitor for side effects.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Coordinate with external hospitals, providers, and families to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation to meet regulatory and accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Current RN license in Indiana.
• Experience in residential treatment, acute care, or similar settings.
• Ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) and handle high‑stress situations.
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to trauma‑informed, person‑centered care.
