Registered Nurse – Multisystem PCU (Day Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our 4 South Multi‑System PCU at AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs. The unit provides 36 private beds for patients with cardiac‑related and multi‑system conditions, operating on a 12‑hour day shift (7 am‑7 pm) with weekend rotation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop, implement and regularly update individualized care plans in line with hospital standards.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, monitor for adverse reactions and document accurately.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medication management and self‑care strategies.
• Collaborate with PCTs, Nurse Techs and the unit educator to maintain a 4‑5 nurse‑to‑patient ratio.

Required profile

• Current RN license in Florida and experience in acute or PCU settings.
• Flexibility, adaptability and strong teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to work day shifts with weekend rotation and participate in ongoing education.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Experience using Rover communication technology for bedside documentation.
