Registered Nurse - Mother and Baby (Multiple Shifts)

About the role

AdventHealth in Winter Garden, Florida, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Mother and Baby unit. The position covers day shifts and offers multiple shift options, with sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, and monitor for adverse reactions
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety and regulatory requirements
• Provide emotional support and supervise and delegate care to the healthcare team
• Respond promptly to code situations and take part in performance improvement activities

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Associate's degree in Nursing (required)
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Fluent in English, read, spoken and written
• Eligible candidates must have 1 year of applicable experience; rehires within 12 months are not eligible
