Registered Nurse – Medical ICU (Night Shift)

About the role

Join Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Medical ICU, working night shifts to provide compassionate, high‑quality care. You will be a key member of the patient‑care team, coordinating assessments, plans, and interventions for critically ill patients.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions, updating care plans as needed.
• Deliver nursing care using independent judgment while adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient flow and experience.
• Document assessments, interventions, education, and any incidents accurately in the medical record.
• Advocate for patients and families, providing education and timely communication.
• Participate in performance‑improvement initiatives and uphold professional standards.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Willingness to work full‑time night shifts (36 hours per week, 3/12 schedule).
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and teamwork.
