About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients who are ill, injured, convalescent or disabled in accordance with the State of California Nursing Practice Act.

Key responsibilities

Deliver nursing care on the Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Perioperative Services and Skilled Nursing Facility at Mountains Community Hospital.
Maintain on‑call availability as required.

Required profile

Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.
Preferred one to two years of experience in Emergency, Perioperative, Medical‑Surgical or Skilled Nursing services.
Current State of California nursing license.

Required skills

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of hire.
Basic arrhythmia certification within six months of hire.
