Registered Nurse – Infusion

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specialized in infusion therapy to join its patient care team. The RN will lead the delivery of high‑quality nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure safe administration of infusion treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on infusion procedures and related health information.
• Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.
• Promote cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse patient backgrounds.
• Contribute to unit and departmental strategic goals and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• No prior work experience required.

Required skills

• Computer proficiency with standard software and web‑based applications.
