Registered Nurse - Infection Control

About the role
The RN Staff – Infection Control position is part of the Infection Control service at the White River Junction Healthcare System. This full‑time role works 40 hours per week providing essential infection prevention and control support within the facility.
Key responsibilities
- Serve in the Infection Control service at the White River Junction Healthcare System.
Required profile
- Proficiency in basic written and spoken English as required by 38 U.S.C. 7403(f).
- Graduate of a professional nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE, or equivalent foreign qualification with appropriate validation.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a U.S. state, territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- Eligibility for Graduate Nurse Technician (GNT) appointment if licensure is pending, with a temporary 120‑day appointment possible.
- Compliance with VA Handbook 5005 – Appendix G6 regarding bridge program candidates.
