Registered Nurse – General IMC (Day Shift)

About the role
UT Health Tyler is seeking a full‑time, day‑shift Registered Nurse (RN) for its Intermediate Care General Medical‑Surgical unit. The position is ideal for a recent graduate or early‑career nurse who wants to work in a high‑tech, patient‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process for a designated group of patients.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and support staff.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit.
Required profile
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent.
- Current Texas RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 14 days of hire.
- Willingness to work day‑shift hours on a full‑time basis.
