Registered Nurse – Full-Time Days – Postpartum

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our postpartum unit on a full‑time day shift. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care while supporting the mission and values of Methodist Health System.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Administer medications and IV therapy safely and accurately.
• Supervise and collaborate with assigned team members and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients, families, and significant others about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of patient information.
• Promote a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Texas and active Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum 12 months of RN experience or successful completion of a Nurse Residency Program.
• Familiarity with hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards.
