About the role
UF Health Durbin Park Hospital, slated to open in fall 2026 in St. Johns County, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its 24‑hour Emergency Department. This is a full‑time position covering the mid‑day shift from 11 am to 11 pm. The role will begin after the hospital opens and is currently posted for internal interest.
Key responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department during the 11 am‑11 pm shift.
- Collaborate with the Emergency Department team to ensure timely and safe patient care.
- Document nursing activities in accordance with hospital policies.
Required profile
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Availability for full‑time work on the 11 am‑11 pm schedule.
- Internal candidates must apply by May 2026; hiring decisions expected in June 2026 with transfer dates likely in August or September 2026.
