About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the West Central Georgia Regional Hospital in Columbus. Working under supervision, you will assess patient health needs, develop care plans, and deliver nursing care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client health problems and needs under supervision.
• Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
• Administer nursing care, including medication and treatments, to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients.
• Provide health education, disease‑prevention advice, and case management as needed.

Required profile

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse (or multistate license).
• Willingness to comply with required health evaluations, vaccinations, drug screening, and background checks.
• Ability to work under supervision in a hospital setting.
