Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our behavioral health team in Denver. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality inpatient or outpatient mental health care during the night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans with a multidisciplinary team.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor efficacy, and manage side effects.
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families using evidence‑based therapeutic communication.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on mental‑health topics.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure coordinated discharge planning and after‑care support.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited program.
• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• At least 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications and their administration protocols.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and ANA ethical standards.
