Registered Nurse – Ambulatory OB/GYN

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive ambulatory care for OB/GYN patients. The nurse will manage the full nursing process from assessment through evaluation, ensuring safe and compassionate care in an outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews, explain policies, and answer questions courteously.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, neurological, psychosocial, and pain status.
• Develop and document individualized care plans, set patient outcome goals, and prioritize care activities.
• Coordinate cost‑effective use of supplies, equipment, and medication.
• Implement care plans, administer prescribed treatments, and use necessary patient‑care equipment safely.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families, and refer to counseling or social services as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and report observations promptly.
• Respond rapidly and effectively in emergency situations.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with experience in ambulatory OB/GYN care.
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership abilities to coordinate patient care.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and the health‑care team.
• Ability to assess and address both physical and psychosocial patient needs.
