Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Nights

About the role

The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of an interdisciplinary care team, delivering high‑quality, safe, and individualized patient care in an acute‑care setting during night shifts. The role emphasizes evidence‑based practice, shared governance, and patient advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence‑based practice and critical thinking.
• Provide patient‑centered care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and families through effective communication and shared decision‑making.
• Coordinate and document safe, quality care via interdisciplinary collaboration, promoting a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and shared governance to enhance patient outcomes.
• Support professional development by completing required training, mentoring, and serving as a preceptor to foster workforce growth.
• Contribute to protocol development and resource management to optimize care delivery and reduce adverse events.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Licensed RN (single or multi‑state compact) with current Basic Life Support certification; ACLS certification required or obtainable within the specified timeframe.
• Less than one year of clinical experience preferred; clinical hours from accredited programs required.
• Demonstrates clinical competence, teamwork, communication, and commitment to evidence‑based practice.
